Payment & Fees:
- Performance Fee:
  - First Hour: $150
  - Each Additional Hour: $125
- Travel Fee: $.75 per mile (if event is outside of Layton, UT)
- Deposit: A non-refundable 50% of the performance fee is required at the time of booking to secure the date.
- Balance Due: The remaining balance must be paid in full on the day of the event, prior to the start of the performance. Accepted payment methods include cash or online payment (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal).
Cancellations:
- If the client cancels the event more than 7 days before the event date, the deposit is non-refundable, but no additional payment is required. If the client cancels less than 7 days before the event, the client agrees to pay the full remaining balance, which will be invoiced and due immediately upon cancellation.
- If the pianist cancels for any reason, all payments made by the client will be refunded in full.
Additional Terms:
- Equipment: The client will provide the piano.
- Breaks: For performances exceeding one hour, a 10-minute break will be provided after every additional hour of playing.
- Liability: The pianist is not responsible for any damage to the venue, equipment, or other items caused by guests.
Performance Details & Additional Fees:
- Attire: The pianist will dress in professional performance attire suitable for the event type. If the client has specific attire requests, these must be communicated at least 14 days before the event and may incur an additional fee if special attire is required.
- Song Requests: Clients may request specific songs for the performance. Up to 5 requests are included at no additional charge, provided they are submitted at least 1 month before the event. Requests made after this deadline, or requests requiring a new arrangement not in the pianist's repertoire, may incur an additional fee of $10 per song.
- Additional Services & Fees: Any additional services, such as rehearsals, extra performance time beyond the agreed duration, or equipment rental (e.g., digital piano), may incur additional fees. These must be discussed and agreed upon before the event.
