  • As news spreads about the horses, staff and volunteers at FREE TO BE EQUINE CENTER and the benefits of being in nature with horses, we have an increase in bookings. It is also important for us to ensure that there is an adequate break time between sessions for the horses, staff, and volunteers. This means that our open herd partnering sessions can fill up quickly, especially during the school year, and we may have a wait list at times. Please review the following guidelines regarding respecting time, safety and confidentiality.

Please arrive on time and remain in the vehicle until your session time. We will meet you there to ensure safety and confidentiality.

Please notify us if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late. You can call or text 715- 965-2517. If you are being transported by someone other than yourself/parent, please make sure they have this phone number SO they can reach us if they are running late. Regardless of your time of arrival, your session will end at its scheduled time. Sessions will not be extended. Missed time can be made up by scheduling another session.

There may be reasons you need to cancel your herd partnering session. It is important for you to notify us when you need to cancel your session. We ask, when possible, to provide a 24 hour notice of cancellation. If we are not notified of your need to cancel a session, 3 or more times, you will be removed from the regular schedule and asked to schedule Session-by-Session. Your signature below acknowledges that you have read and understand the attendance guidelines.
