Nursing Research Grant

Purpose: To encourage qualified Registered Nurses in Massachusetts to contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge through research.
Funding - up to $1,500 available

FNAMA has created a Nursing Research Grant fund with donations from RN’s, ANAMASS members, and others who support nursing research. To donate, please visit www.fnama.org.
Eligibility Criteria

Applicants seeking the FNAMA Research grant must be Massachusetts licensed registered nurses who are currently practicing and residing in Massachusetts. Applicants must be prepared at the Master's Degree level at a minimum. Those conducting clinical and quality improvement research are encouraged to apply.

Current Massachusetts RN LicenseReside and practice in MassachusettsPossesses graduate degree in nursingExpected completion of research project within 1 year of receiving funds*Agree to disseminate findings at an FNAMA or ANAMASS educational program within 18 months of receiving funds*Must submit completed application form, resume/cv, and letter of supportMust not have received a FNAMA scholarship/grant within past two years.

Not to exceed 10 pages of narrative, include each of the below headings, and no more than five pages of appendices, including IRB approval, budget and references.
