We will meet 1 - 3x a month at the Unite Resource Center August - April. Dates & Times for 2026-27 TBD depending on progress made. On our off weeks, there will be assignments to be completed from home.

Commitment Agreement
I hereby commit to fulfilling my role as a member of the Journalism Team. I understand the importance of my contributions and agree to the following terms: 1. Attendance: I will attend all scheduled meetings, which will be held every other week, barring sickness and family emergencies, if I cannot attend I will touch base with leadership and complete any tasks needed at home. 2. Participation: I will actively participate in discussions, planning, and execution of journalism-related tasks. 3. Deadlines: I will meet all deadlines for my assigned tasks to ensure the timely completion of projects. 4. Collaboration: I will work collaboratively with other club members and respect their ideas and contributions. 5. Communication: I will communicate any issues or conflicts that may affect my participation in a timely manner. By signing this agreement, I acknowledge my commitment and responsibility to the Journalism Team. Failing to fulfill our commitments will result in loss of Journalism benefits.
Journalism Team Benefits
As a member of the Journalism Team, your student will recieve free participation in any Unite event that your family plans to attend (field trips are capped at a $10 credit). Additionally, your teen will receive a yearbook at half price! **Parents of teens who participate will receive additional benefits depending on their level of commitment and leadership.
