Primary Programmers will be teaching the students Scratch programming.
Scratch is the world’s largest coding community for children and a coding language with a simple visual interface that allows young people to create digital stories, games, and animations. Scratch promotes computational thinking and problem solving skills; creative teaching and learning; self-expression and collaboration; and equity in computing.
Registration opens on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 3:00p.m. and closes on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 5:00p.m. (or earlier if the 24 limit is reached).
Dates and Times: Tuesdays, January 21, 2025 to April 15, 2025, from 7:00a.m. to 7:50a.m. Classes will meet weekly, with the exception of school holidays and teacher in-service days. Room assignments will be emailed to parents before classes begin.
Cost: $25 (members)/ $30 (non-members) per student
