Do you want to learn how to effectively plan out a project? Get a good understanding of the key concepts and mechanisms of project management to apply to any project or software? Do you want to widen your understanding of stakeholders, budgets and risk? Then this training is for you!
Our all-day training session takes you through the fundamentals of project management, outlining the key concepts and outputs you need to know, before successfully planning out a project from start to finish. It is a practical, tailored session that will use a project idea you submit ahead of time as the basis for a series of exercises designed to teach you how to practically plan out and deliver an effective project.
The day will be a mixture of exercises and theory with a heavy focus on interactive learning. Attendees will leave the day with a clear idea of how to plan out a project as well as the other key aspects that contribute to a successful project. All attendees will be asked to submit an idea for a project ahead of the training. You will be working with your peers from other think tanks and attendees will be encouraged to share best practice, build networks and learn from each other.
