  • Primrose School of East Louisville Wait list FAQs

    1. How do we get on the Wait list?

    To be added to the Primrose School of East Louisville Wait list you will need to fill out and submit a Registration Form and pay the Registration/Wait list Fee.

    2. How do you prioritize the Wait list?

    We use several factors to prioritize, including Child's Birthdate and Registration Date. We also give siblings of internal students and Staff children priority.

    3. Can we change our Requested Start Date?

    Yes, just let us know as soon as possible and we will update the wait list.

    4. What if a space becomes available earlier than our Requested Start Date?

    If a space becomes available earlier than your Requested Start Date, you will be contacted by the school and given 2 business days to respond to Primrose. If you accept the space, we will move forward with enrollment. If you are unable to accept the space, you can pass one time and remain on the wait list.

    5. How long will you hold a classroom space once it is offered to us?

    We understand a child may not be available to start on the exact date a classroom has an opening, and an offer is made. We will hold a classroom space for 2 weeks without charge of tuition once the annual supply fee is paid to hold the space; however, after 2 weeks we require tuition be paid or you will return to the Wait list.

    6. What happens if we turn down a space in the classroom?

    We understand that plans change requiring you to turn down an offered space. You have the option of staying on the Wait list or you may remove yourself completely with written notice to the school. The Wait list fee is non-refundable. You may only turn down an Offer of Enrollment once. If you turn down an offer a second time, you will have to repay the wait list fee to remain on the wait list.

    7. What happens to our place on the Wait list if our child ages out of a classroom?

    If your child ages up while on the Wait list, we will move them to the next classroom's List.

    8. How often will the school communicate with me about the Wait list?

    To keep the Wait list current, we update the list constantly. We welcome you to call anytime to check your status. We will call and email you when a space becomes available.

    9. How much notice will we be given when a space becomes available?

    We will do our best to give you advance notice when a spot become available. Families are required to give us a two-week notice, so typically you will be given a two-week notice as well. When we offer, you will have 2 business days to respond to Primrose. We will reach out to you via phone and email. If we do not hear from you in 2 business days, we will move on to the next child and you will remain on the Wait list. This will count as your one pass on Enrollment.

  • 10. We have been offered a spot and are ready to enroll! What happens next?

    You will pay the Annual Supply Fee to secure the spot and then the school will contact you to schedule a parent orientation and set a Start Date! Your start date must be within 2 weeks of offer.

    11. What if our childcare plans change and we no longer want to be on the Wait list?

    If your childcare plans change in any way, we ask that you provide written notice to the school that you would like to be removed so we can update the Wait list. Your Wait list fee is non-refundable. Please keep in mind that if you decide to return and wish to be placed on the Wait list again, you will be required to pay the Wait list fee again.
