Please make sure that you have an Excel or Google Sheets with your business Income and all business Expenses before proceeeding.
From Google Sheets File menu, download the file as Microsoft Excel.
You will be able to upload the file with your busness income and expenses.
Include home-based business activies:
- Provide the total square footage of the home, and the square footage of the home-office.
- Provide the total utilities for the year of each utility that you want to apply to the home-based business.
Include business assets:
- Real Estate owned by the business - land, buildings, houses, etc.
- Real Assets owned by the business - Vehicles, Machines, etc.
- Investments owned by the business - Stocks, Investments Accounts, other type of equity or financial assets
The IRS may ask you to provide receipts so please keep your receipts on file for at least 6
