SURVEY: Milton Trails Blueprint
  • SURVEY: Milton Trails Blueprint

Opportunity for public to share input on proposed 2025 updates
  • We want to hear what you, our citizens, think of the Milton Trails Advisory Committee's recommended changes to the Milton Trails Blueprint map!

The Milton Trails Blueprint map is a document that details the ways people can get around our city without the use of automobiles. Its "trails" are within the City right-of-way or easements, incorporating sidewalks and multi-use paths for walking and biking. The Trails Blueprint is an aspirational document to show both private developers and the public where the City may improve its trail network for current and future projects. While it is a useful reference, these recommendations do not fund or advance any specific project. Projects will be prioritized and will move forward through the annual City budgeting process and the development of TSPLOST project lists.  This map is an aspirational look at where Milton wants to be 20+ years from now.

The Milton Trails Advisory Committee (MTAC) advises on the planning of trails and has identified an initiative to explore how the City might update the current Milton Trails Blueprint map (figure 10.7.3A in the Unified Development Code) in a way that enhances connectivity while still preserving Milton’s rural landscape. However, the City Council, City staff, and residents -- including through this survey! -- play pivotal roles as well. We are hoping you will take this survey to help shape the look, feel, and outdoor experience in Milton for decades to come.

Thank you, in advance, for taking this survey and contributing to this key endeavor to help shape the look, feel, and outdoor experience in Milton for decades to come!
