Terms and Conditions for Online Notary Appointments with MarQkt

1. Legal Limitations: Please be advised that MarQkt notaries cannot offer legal advice or make suggestions about your documents. For legal inquiries, please consult with an independent attorney prior to your session.

2. Identity Verification and KYC Compliance: All participants must complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) process by scanning, uploading, and verifying their identity with an approved form of identification. This will be carried out on a government-approved secure platform. You will receive instructions via email before your scheduled session.

3. Fee Structure:

First notary seal: $25
Each additional seal: $5
Additional signers: $10 each
MarQkt provided witness: $10 for up to three signatures, with each additional signature at $5
4. Document Signing Instructions: Do not sign your documents prior to your online session. Ensure that all signings are done live on camera to comply with notarization requirements.

5. Session Details and Duration: Most notary sessions will last between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of documents and signers involved. Ensure that all participants are present on time to facilitate a smooth session.

6. Recording and Storage of Notary Sessions: Your notarization session will be recorded and securely stored for a period of 10 years. You can access and download your notarized documents anytime during this period from the platform used for your session.

7. Payment and Additional Fees: The $25 deposit required at the time of booking will be applied towards the total cost of your notarization session. Any additional fees incurred during the session will be charged separately.

8. Approved Forms of Identification: For verification purposes, the following government-issued IDs are accepted:

U.S. Passport
U.S. Passport Card
State-issued Driver’s License
State-issued Identification Card
Military Identification Card
Foreign Passport with a U.S. Department of Homeland Security stamp

9. Geographic and Document Restrictions: MarQkt’s notaries are based in Florida and have the authority to notarize documents for use across all 50 U.S. states and territories, unless a document specifies otherwise. Please note that our services are intended for documents that will be used within the United States only. We are unable to notarize documents intended for use outside of the U.S.
