A PATH PALS Approach to Preventing Childhood Suicide
  • September 24, 2025

    3:30pm - 4:30pm

    200 W. Front St.
    Room 324
    (Third Floor)

    Bloomington, IL 61701

    Description:

Suicide is the eighth leading cause of death for children ages 5 to 11, and even elementary school aged children need caring adults who can recognize and respond to their struggles. PATH Pals is a powerful, creative program that uses puppetry and storytelling to help children name their feelings, express themselves safely, and understand that they are never alone. In this training, you will experience a live PATH Pals performance, explore the Caregiver Toolkit, and take part in an interactive Q&A session. You will leave with practical strategies and fresh inspiration to support children’s mental health in your work.
