    Sharing your contact information is completely optional but if we need to follow up with you regarding problems with your files or to tell you a cool story about the impact your art is having, we'll need to know how to get ahold of you.

    We can process just about any file type but most of our organizers prefer .pdf, .jpg or .png files. 

    Popular dimensions are: 

    • 8.5x11 - Activists can print out at home or just about any office printer and hit the streets. 
    • 11x17 - In DC these fit great on the base of lightposts and on electrical boxes at intersections. It's also an inexpensive and accessible format to print. 
    • 24x36 - These are pretty big posters! They cover the full side of an electrical box and are super visible. 
    • Other formats are totally fine but will likely require activists to seek out specialized printing and/or cut paper and may discourage activists from using your art work

    Feel free to submit different versions of the same design in different sizes or color schemes.

  • AGREEMENT:

    By submitting your art here you are sharing it for distribution as part of the UNWELCOMING COMMITTEE public art campaign. 

    • Art may be distributed on public streets and in public places throughout Washington, DC; the DMV and more broadly; 
    • Volunteers will choose which pieces they download, print and post. Some designs may be very popular and posted widely; other designs may not be posted at all. We make no commitments regarding the scale or impact of distribution; 
    • By submitting artwork through this form you are representing that you have the right to share these designs and you are not sharing the work of another artist without their consent;
    • If you want credit for your art work, include your signature or other attribution information in the graphic you are uploading;
