The Austin Delta Foundation announces its annual scholarship process for the 2025-2026 academic year. The deadline for submission of all applications is March 31, 2026. Fill out the form carefully and completely to be considered for the scholarship. Awarded monies must be used for the 2026-2027 academic year in the fall.
Scholarship Amounts:
- Scholarship amounts will vary
- Outstanding applicants may be considered for a four year scholarship
Qualifications of Austin Delta Foundation applicants:
- Must have a 2.75 or above cumulative GPA
- African American female
- High school senior
- Must be willing to participate in an interview if requested
Qualifications of Nancy C. Brown applicants:
- Must have a 2.75 or above cumulative GPA
- African American female
- High school senior or undergraduate student
- Must be willing to participate in an interview if requested
Required documentation:
- Completed application
- Official transcript
- Color photograph
- One letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher or an administrator
- Proof of a minimum of 20 hours of community service documented on organization or business letterhead
- Copy of official SAT/ACT scores (screen shot accepted - make sure your name is in the screen shot)
*Details regarding scholarship reception will be communicated at a later date.

General rules:

1. Must be enrolled as a full-time student

2. Verification of enrollment on university or college letterhead

3. Verification of enrollment must be received by October 31, 2026 in order to receive award money

4. All award monies will be distributed in fall 2026

Note: The committee may request a verification of income as part of the review process. The scholarship committee of the Austin Delta Foundation will determine the number of scholarships to be awarded and the dollar amount of individual scholarships.

Scholarship payments will be made available to students for the fall semester. The award recipient will be required to provide proof of registration on letterhead from the school indicating the student is a full-time student for the fall semester, to the scholarship committee. This letter must be received by October 31, 2026 or the student forfeits the scholarship.

Please submit completed application online, along with all supporting documents, by March 31, 2026. Any supporting documents that are mailed must be postmarked by March 31, 2026. All supporting documents should be mailed to:
