Notes for Green Island SongFest! '25

The Novice category re-established last year remains (classes 7-9). To be eligible the competitor must not have previously won in any category in prior singing competitions.

COVID We reserve the right to apply Covid protocols as we have done in past years to keep all attendees as safe as we can. We will advise any requirements, if required, closer to the time.

Fees this year

A LATE ENTRY FEE OF $20 NOW APPLIES - entries closed on June 25th - late entries may be accepted if scheduling allows.

If entry is for ONE SONG ONLY, total fee payable is $10.

For Waiata, the Song fee is waived once again for 2025.

We are also once again waiving the Compulsory Admission (Family Weekend Pass) fee for this year, however, you are welcome to make a donation with your entry if you wish.

Administration

A Compulsory Administration Fee will be added automatically to your total as appropriate (the fee is discounted for ONE SONG ONLY entires and waived for Cleveland Recital Entries.)
Programmes

You will receive a PDF by email listing all the classes, competitors and songs in the order of the competition so that you can plan your weekend at the festival.

Additionally, you may also choose to order a posted programme in A5 booklet form below. These will be available for collection at the music table on arrival at the festival.
