  • Introduction

  • With the increasing adoption of heat pumps and other low-carbon heating systems, the demand for accurate sizing is on the rise. Heat Loss Assessors play a crucial role in performing these calculations, enabling installers to quote and design systems effectively. Properly sized heating systems ensures efficient heating, prevents unnecessary energy use, which leads to lower bills, and supports the UK on the road to net zero.

As a member of Elmhurst’s Heat Loss Assessor Competency Scheme, you will be able to demonstrate competence and quality to clients, and show that your work meets the highest industry standards.

The scheme offers fantastic benefits for members, such as dedicated technical support, entry onto Elmhurst's Find-an-assessor facility and much more!

We have developed a specialist software tool for completing heat loss calculations. This software is exclusively available for Elmhurst members and offers a user-friendly and simple way to complete and record your calculations.
