Carla the Rescuer PD
  • Stories of Rescue and Resistance featuring the documentary film "Carla the Rescuer"

Teachers are invited to join us for a viewing of the soon-to-be-released documentary “Carla the Rescuer,” which details the story of Holocaust survivor and Spokane resident Carla Peperzak’s work in the resistance movement during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands during World War II. Carla shares her story to inspire all of us to carry her message forward to create a more tolerant and peaceful world. After viewing the film, Carla Peperzak will join us for a question and answer session, and teachers will be introduced to classroom-ready resources to use alongside the film.
