Every team is expected to identify an adult that is willing and able to volunteer at the team's Championship for the general volunteer roles.
The requirement is a full day - this can be satisfied several ways including having multiple half days.
The team's Coaches can volunteer to help with Setup (as can the team's Adult Volunteer) which counts as a "half day".
And the team's Coaches can volunteer to bring a full FLL Challenge table with sawhorses and the MasterPiece challenge kit.
The team volunteer must be an adult that is not either of the team's Lead Coach 1 or Lead Coach 2 except as mentioned above.
If the team has more than 2 adults working as coaches/mentors, the adult volunteer can be one of the extra coaches or mentors.
The team's Adult volunteer does not have to be a parent of a team member but could be a family friend, neighbor, or other adult that you know.
This person's name and email will be handed to the PAL Volunteer Coordinator. Please let your volunteer know that you are submitting their name and email!
Your volunteer must also register in the FIRST Volunteer Management System (VIMS) and pass the YPP background screen.
Team volunteers MUST not to apply to be as part of the Referee or Judge crew per NorCal and FIRST policies related to conflict of interest.
