Whidbey Island WOMEN ONLY Workshop Registration

    Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 10am-4pm
  • 🌸 Lighthouse Views & Spring Blooms: A Whidbey Island Photography Adventure!

Get ready for a fantastic day trip packed with incredible PNW views, historic landmarks, and the vibrant colors of spring! Join me for an uplifting one-day photography workshop exploring the very best of Whidbey Island—we are going to have so much fun and capture some seriously stunning images!

đź’– A Supportive Space Just for Women!

This workshop is intentionally limited to a small group of women to create an atmosphere that is 100% low-key, friendly, and totally encouraging!

No Pressure, All Fun: Feel completely comfortable asking any question—big or small! We believe the best learning happens when you feel relaxed and supported.

Built-in Community: Connect with fellow passionate female photographers. You'll leave with new skills and a supportive network to cheer you on long after the workshop is over!

Focus on Creativity: We'll dive deep into technique in a safe, judgment-free zone, empowering you to explore your unique artistic vision with confidence.

Whidbey Island: From Blooms to Bridges!

We’ll kick off our beautiful day at 10:00 AM at the enchanting Meerkerk Gardens! If the timing is right (and we hope it is!), the rhododendrons should be bursting into glorious bloom! This is the perfect spot to sharpen your skills on:

Intimate Details: Focusing on macro shots and close-ups of those gorgeous flowers and textures.
Composition & Light: Talking about focal ranges and using light to create mood and drama, transitioning from small, detailed images to larger garden vistas.
From the gardens, our adventure continues up the island’s scenic coast:

History & Harbors: We’ll explore the historic batteries and sweeping views at Fort Casey, and capture the classic beauty of the Admiralty Head Lighthouse.
Coastal Views: Next up is the iconic landscape of Ebey's Landing, offering amazing high-bluff views of the water and Olympic Mountains.
Grand Finale: We'll wrap up the day at the breathtaking Deception Pass State Park and its famous bridge, focusing on capturing that incredible water movement and scale!

    My Encouraging Approach to Learning

My workshops are always low key, friendly, and completely encouraging! Whether you want to master new skills or just refine your approach to travel and landscape photography, this day is for you.

Walking & Movement: There will be a good amount of walking as we explore these amazing locations, but you’ll be happy to know there are virtually no elevation gains—it’s a relaxed stroll!
Personalized Attention: To ensure you get plenty of one-on-one coaching and guidance, this workshop is strictly limited to just 6 people!

    Logistical Hugs & Follow-Up

I'll send out a full, detailed gear list once you register so you know exactly what to pack for our island adventure.

And the learning doesn't stop when we leave the island! A few days later, we'll hop on a Zoom call! This is a great chance to review your beautiful photos, ask any lingering questions, and get friendly feedback and gentle critiques (if you'd like them!).

Ready to grab your spot and capture the beauty of Whidbey Island? Let's go!
