Take your pottery skills to the next level with this hands-on weekend long class designed for intermediate and advanced students. Over two immersive days, you’ll learn the fundamentals of production pottery, including centering large amounts of clay (up to 8–10 pounds) and learning a Korean style and technique of throwing off the hump. Day one focuses on spiral wedging, centering, and throwing, while day two dives into trimming, slip glazing, and surface design. This class emphasizes learning foundational skills—expect to cut through most of your pieces to analyze wall thickness and refine your technique. Cancellation and refund policy

Due to limited seating, we request that you cancel at least 72 hours before a scheduled class. This gives us the opportunity to fill the class. You may cancel by phone. If you have to cancel your class, we offer you a credit to your account if you cancel before the 48 hours, but do not offer refunds. You may use these credits towards any future class. However, if you do not cancel prior to the 72 hours, you will lose the deposit for the class. The owner has the only right to be flexible here.

Clay Damage

Kiln clay explosions are unlikely but they do happen. In the event of a clay piece being damaged due to a kiln explosion, we are happy to provide emotional support and offer you a chance to come in and remake your art piece. Refunds are not provided for damaged clay due to kiln explosions. Please note each artist is responsible for ensuring pieces are securely attached in order to avoid breakage.
