Town of Reidville Event and Code Regulations
APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Each vendor is required to submit an application form which includes a completed application, full payment, a description of booth setup and merchandise description. Applications will only be reviewed if properly filled out and all the information above is provided. If application is accepted, the vendor will be notified, and an invoice will be issued for payment. If an application is denied, the vendor will be contacted.
VENDOR SPACE / DIMENSIONS / ELECTRICITY / PARKING
Vendor pricing includes one 12' x 12’ unfurnished space in a predetermined outdoor location. Limited electricity is available but not guaranteed. Vendors that require more electricity than can be provided will be responsible for providing their own power/generator. Please note that no ladders/drop cords or extension cords are provided. Vehicles cannot be parked anywhere within the vendor space and must be moved to vendor parking areas once setup is complete before the event begins.
VENDOR SET-UP / BREAKDOWN / LATE ARRIVALS
The events will take place at a predetermined outdoor location. Vendors will be emailed with detailed instructions for set up and breakdown times the week of event. Please keep your area clean of trash. If a vendor leaves behind an untidy space, you may be asked not to participate in future events. If a vendor arrives too late to set up, their participation may be denied.
CANCELLATION POLICY
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances. If the Town of Reidville cancels an event due to extreme circumstances, a vendor credit will be issued.
TOWN OF REIDVILLE FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
• All vendors are reminded that there must be a minimum of three (3) feet of clearance on both sides of fire hydrants for a total of not less than six (6) feet of clearance around all hydrants.
• National Electric Code - Extension cords shall be free of taped up splices and in good condition. Cords shall be installed and/or protected to not be a tripping hazard to the public. All outdoor receptacles must be in a weatherproof type of box with a cover and approved plug and cord connector.
• It is the vendor’s responsibility to withhold and remit all applicable state and federal taxes. For further information on this, please contact the South Carolina Department of Revenue at (803)896-1350 or email TaxRegistration@dor.sc.gov.
