1. Tournament Date and Time: Matches will commence at 2:00 PM as per the schedule.
Categories:Junior Category: For participants aged 9 to 12 years.
Senior Category: For participants aged 13 to 14 years.
Equipment Provided: The organizers will provide chessboards and coins for all matches.
Eligibility

2. All participants must fall within the respective age categories (proof of age may be required).
Match Rules

3. Matches will be conducted as per the official FIDE chess rules.
Each match must start promptly at the scheduled time. Players arriving more than 15 minutes late will forfeit their match.
Time controls for each match will be communicated on the day of the tournament.

4. Matches will follow the pre-determined schedule. Participants will be informed in advance about their match timings.
Conduct and Etiquette

5. Players must maintain decorum during matches. Disruptive behavior may lead to disqualification.
Players must not use any external assistance (e.g., electronic devices, coaching, or manuals) during their games.

6. The referee’s or arbiter’s decisions are final in all matters related to the tournament.
Safety and Responsibility

7. Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children before and after the matches.
The organizers are not liable for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the event.
Prizes

8. Awards and certificates will be presented to winners at the end of the tournament. Details will be shared during the event.
Registration and Participation

9. All participants must register prior to the event. No on-spot registrations will be entertained.
