Event At A Glance – Preliminary Pageant

ARRIVAL & REGISTRATION
Arrival and check-in will take place from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. This allows ample time to prepare prior to the 1:00 PM start time. All contestants should arrive pageant-ready in fashion wear.

Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel
600 White Plains Road
Tarrytown, NY

For those traveling by train, Metro-North Railroad to Tarrytown Station is recommended. The hotel is a short cab ride from the station.

PARKING
Complimentary on-site parking is available.

Event Overview
This preliminary pageant is structured to be streamlined, organized, and welcoming to all age divisions.

Required Attire & Photo
Photogenic (Ages 0–7): One photo must be submitted prior to the event or presented at registration.
Fashion Wear: All ages (including accessories).
Formal Wear: All ages (including accessories).

Hair & Makeup
There are no restrictions for this event.

Competition Categories
Photogenic: Ages 0–7
Fashion Wear: All ages
Formal Wear: All ages
Interview: Ages 8+ (conducted in formal wear)

Dressing Room Guidelines
Dressing rooms are reserved for female participants only.
Contestants age 13 and under may be accompanied by one parent due to limited space.
Event staff will be available to assist participants as needed.

Photography & Video
Family members and guests may take unlimited photos and videos from their seats.

Entry
Entry pass for supporters are required

Scheduled Break
During the scheduled break, all contestants and guests must exit the event space to allow for staging adjustments and awards preparation.

Scoring System
A true scoring system will be utilized, ranging from 1 to 10, including decimal increments (example: 2.5, 9.9, 10).

Scored Categories
Photogenic (Ages 0–7): 1–10
Interview (Ages 8+): 1–10
Fashion Wear (All Ages): 1–10
Formal Wear (All Ages): 1–10

Awards & Crowning
All participants must return in formal wear for awards and crowning.
Three winners per division will receive:

Crown
Finalist sash (custom MCG sash for Ages 18+ will be ordered following the preliminary)
Flowers
Participation gift
Discount toward MCG or ANP Finals

Important Notes
All judges’ decisions are final. Scoring and placement determinations are made solely by the judges, not by the pageant or the Director.

A simple July participation agreement will be provided to all participants.

 

 

Simple Terms and Conditions
By registering for and/or participating in any preliminary or final pageant produced by me, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility
Participation is open to contestants ages 0 and above. All contestants must meet the age requirements for their division at the time of the event. Contestants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete registration and be present at the event.

Registration and Fees
All registration and participation fees must be paid in full by the stated deadline. Fees are considered administrative and cover event-related costs.

Refund Policy
All fees are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal, illness, scheduling conflicts, or disqualification.

Participation Requirements
This is a simple, open preliminary pageant. Requirements will be minimal and clearly communicated prior to the event. I reserve the right to adjust schedules, categories, or formats as needed.

Conduct
All contestants, parents, guests, and supporters are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. Any inappropriate, disruptive, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.

Media Release
By participating, you grant permission for photographs, video, and audio recordings taken during the event to be used for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without compensation.

Liability Release
Participation is at your own risk. I am not responsible for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property before, during, or after the event.

Event Changes
I reserve the right to make changes to the date, time, location, or structure of the pageant if necessary. Any updates will be communicated as promptly as possible.

Judging and Decisions
All judges’ decisions are final. Scores, placements, and titles are not subject to appeal.

Acceptance of Terms
By registering and participating, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions in full.
