All entitlement of holiday leave must be taken during the course of the Leave Year in which it accrues. The Agency Worker is responsible for ensuring that all paid annual leave is requested and taken within the Leave Year. Neway’s holiday year runs from the Monday immediately following the last Friday in March and ending on the last Friday in March each year.
It is necessary to give notice of at least twice the length (in working days) of the period of holiday that is being requested. For example, if you want 1 day off, you must give 2 working days notice, if you want 5 days off, you must give 10 working days notice.
Any holiday forms received after the holiday has taken place or without correct notice will not be authorised.
Holiday always must be authorised by your Contract Manager or by a Neway member of staff.
