Compensation and Benefits Your hourly wage, including additional pay for evening and weekend hours, will be outlined. As a Massachusetts employee, you are entitled to benefits such as earned sick time and protections mandated by state law.
Responsibilities You will provide interpreting or CART captioning services to ensure communication access for government agencies and their Deaf employees, consumers, and guests. Reporting work hours, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to professional ethics are essential responsibilities.
Work Schedule and Payroll Time reporting is required twice monthly, with paychecks deposited on the 7th and 22nd of each month.
Confidentiality and Non-Compete Confidentiality must be maintained for all DSU Associates’ business information. Employees are prohibited from assisting competitors or sharing sensitive information.
Employment Terms Employment is “at will,” but a good-faith notice of three weeks is requested if you choose to terminate employment
Assignment Policies Minimums and cancellation policies apply to all assignments (e.g., 2-hour minimum for on-site and 1-hour for VRI assignments).
Compliance and Eligibility Employment is contingent on proof of U.S. citizenship, background checks, and compliance with federal contract requirements.
