RULES, REGULATIONS, and TERMS OF AGREEMENT for
Riverside Arts Weekend
June 7-8, 2025
- All applications will be juried by the festival organizers. We reserve the right to limit how many vendors in each category we accept. We reserve the right to decline any vendor at any time period. Submitting an application is NOT a guarantee of acceptance.
- You are not a vendor until payment and completed forms are submitted and accepted.
- Every vendor needs to provide tents, tables, chairs, and products for your space. Tents should be sturdy, made of flame retardant fabric, and weighted down appropriately (30# per leg).There are no rentals available.
- Volunteers will be available to help you set up, take down or to allow you to use the facilities. These helpers are not allowed to accept money or sell your product when you are unavailable, they are strictly place holders. Please plan accordingly.
- Vendor is required to collect and remit Illinois Sales Tax to the Illinois Department of Revenue and abide by any government regulations that pertain.
- No vendor may solicit customers other than from behind their reserved booth space. Disruptive noises or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Any sales or exchange of food, drinks or alcohol, objectionable materials, photos, films, books,counterfeit merchandise, etc. is strictly prohibited. Merchandise must be confined to the vendor’s space. Any food vendors will need to submit an additional application.
- No illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia or weapons are permitted on the property. No smoking, candles or open flames of any kind, fireworks, dangerous chemicals, electric heaters, and hotplates.
- Inclement weather or Acts of God that result in the cancellation of the event will not result in the vendor receiving refund of any fees.
- Each vendor and representative will indemnify and hold the Riverside Arts Weekend and the Village of Riverside, its volunteers, staff and owners harmless from any loss, cost or expense of any sort or nature including reasonable attorney fees and costs.
AGREEMENT: The Riverside Arts Weekend organizers (“Event organizers”) implement all policies and are solely responsible for the management of the Riverside Arts Weekend actions and decisions are final. Your acceptance of this application, payment of fees, and your participation as a vendor at the event are acknowledgements of your understanding and compliance with these Rules and Regulations. Any conduct contrary to these Rules and Regulations, behaviors, products, or displayed items deemed inappropriate by Event Organizers shall be just cause for Event Organizers to immediately request Vendors to immediately cease such activities. Event Organizers may revoke said vendors permit and request said vendor to immediately vacate the premises if said vendor fails to comply with the request to cease and desist. Furthermore, the Event Organizers may remove all property of said vendor from the premises at vendor’s expense. The Event shall not be responsible for storage of said property and is released and is operating and held harmless for all loss or damage of said property as a result of such removal. PLEASE KEEP A COPY OF THE RULES AND APPLICATION FOR YOUR RECORDS.
COMPLIANCE: Submitting an application is a declaration that you have read the above rules and regulations and will abide by ALL throughout your association with Riverside Arts Weekend and the Village of Riverside.
