    Foster Application

Thank you for your interest in fostering. Fostering is a rewarding opportunity to provide temporary care for HOA cats until they find their forever homes. As a foster, you’ll play a vital role in preparing animals for adoption by offering a safe, loving environment, socialization, and care. Since we do not operate a shelter, our foster homes are essential to the success of our adoption program. Every foster placement directly increases the number of cats and kittens we can rescue, giving more animals a second chance at a happy life. We appreciate your compassion and commitment—our lifesaving work wouldn’t be possible without people like you! 💙
  • Helping Outside Animals (HOA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (tax ID# 41-3516812), operates as a community-driven rescue dedicated to assisting vulnerable and at-risk animals in Connecticut. HOA focuses on advocacy, fostering, and coordinating rescue efforts, while supporting spay/neuter initiatives and connecting animals with safe placements and long-term homes.
