  • Electric Motor Amperage Draw / Run Times 
    The example below are based on the following model, size & pressure:

    Bore Pressure Actuator
    2-1/16" 10,000 psi HX-30

     

     

    Acceptable amperage draw of the electric motor during operation should be considered.  If amerage draw using one of the standard configurations shown below is not acceptable, the system can be configured to reduce the amerage draw by changing the hydraulic pump displacement. 

    In some cases, achieving an acceptable average draw may require a change in actuator size. In all cases, the combination of pump displacement and actuator size impacts the time required to open the valve.

    * Maximum AMP draw by the electric motor is only experienced for approximately 5% of total opening run time.  For the balance of opening run time, the amp draw of the electric motor is approximately 25% of maximum.
