    • Engagement Letter

      Thank you for choosing LRC FINANCIAL GROUP to assist you with the preparation and filing of your income tax return(s). This letter confirms the terms of our engagement and outlines the nature and extent of the services we will provide.

      Scope of Services
      We will prepare your federal and applicable state income tax return(s) for the tax years you have selected based on the information you provide. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information, including but not limited to:

      Income statements (e.g., W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
      Deduction and credit information
      Any additional documents or records required to complete your return.
      Our work is limited to the preparation of your tax return(s) and does not include auditing or verifying the information you provide. If necessary, we will request additional documentation to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.

      Client Responsibilities
      You are responsible for maintaining adequate records to substantiate the items reported on your tax return(s). You must review your completed tax return(s) carefully before signing to ensure accuracy and completeness. The ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of the return(s) rests with you.

      Fees and Payment
      The fee for preparing your tax return(s) will be communicated to you prior to the commencement of services. In the event that you decide to file your return elsewhere or do not sign your return within 24 hours of its completion, you will be charged a $125 disengagement fee. This fee covers the time and resources already expended in the preparation of your tax return(s).

      Payment for our services is due at the time of filing unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Failure to remit payment may result in delays in filing your return(s).

      Confidentiality
      All information provided will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We will not disclose your information to any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

      IRS Inquiries and Audits
      While we strive for accuracy, please note that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) or state tax authorities may select your return(s) for review or audit. In the event of such an occurrence, our engagement does not include responding to inquiries, audits, or examinations unless specifically engaged to do so in a separate agreement.

      Termination of Services
      We reserve the right to terminate this engagement if the necessary information is not provided in a timely manner, if full payment is not received, or if there is a failure to adhere to the terms outlined in this letter.

      Acknowledgment and Agreement
      By signing this letter, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of our engagement. You also acknowledge that you are responsible for the information provided and for the timely signing and filing of your tax return(s).

      Please indicate your acceptance of these terms by signing and returning a copy of this letter.
