Course Policy

One-on-One Sessions:

Students are required to attend one-on-one sessions with the instructor.

Payment:

Full payment for the course is required upon enrollment. A weekly payment plan is available.

Course Requirements:

Exercises & Videos: Students must complete all assigned exercises and watch all course videos in a timely manner.

Quizzes and Tests: A minimum passing score of 80% is required on all quizzes and tests. Quizzes are open book and can be completed alongside module study and taken as many times as you so choose.

To enroll in this course, students must have a high school diploma or GED and access to the course modules.

Phlebotomy Clinicals:

Phlebotomy clinicals are done in person on a designated weekend.

Testing Policy & Final Exam:

Both tests and the final exam are timed. Students must schedule their assessments and use Google Meet to take them while sharing their screens. A minimum passing score of 80% is required on all test and the final exam.

Electronic Devices:

Only calculators (which may be on your phone or laptop) are permitted during tests and the final exam. Please bring only a pencil or ink pen and blank scrap paper (no pre-written notes).

Course Etiquette:

Distractions: Please ensure there is no background noise or distractions during these times. Please mute your microphone when necessary.

Health Policy:

Sickness: The student's health is our priority. While illness may affect your ability to complete the course on time, we encourage you to communicate with the instructor regarding any concerns.

Grading Criteria:

A minimum score of 80% is required on quizzes, tests, and the final exam to pass the course. All students successfully complete our course. Quizzes, tests, and the grading system are not used to determine pass or fail status. Instead, they serve as tools to assess students' strengths and weaknesses, allowing us to provide targeted exercises and guidance to support their learning and improvement.

Textbooks and Study Materials (optional)

The textbooks and study materials for this course include the following: The Clinical Research Textbook priced at $179.00, which covers the CCRP Certified Clinical Research Professional material; The Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines Manual available for $130.00, detailing Good Clinical Practices in Pharmaceuticals; and an Online Resources/Subscription Access to JAMA for $216. Additionally, the Phlebotomy Textbook costs $58.23, and the Lab Manual is priced at $87.39, titled Phlebotomy: Worktext and Procedures Manual. Lastly, Study Guides/Flashcards are available for $10 for the Phlebotomy Practice Flashcards: Mock Phlebotomy Request, Phlebotomy Training Kit.

Additional Notes:

All instructions regarding tests, the final exam, and course requirements will be provided at the beginning of each session.

Please refrain from using GPT chat and ensure that you remain on the test page during assessments, whether on your phone or laptop. The testing platform will detect answers generated from GPT chat and will monitor any navigation away from the test screen, including the duration of your absence.
