Artist Statement

I am excited to co-create a henna piece with you. I am open to hearing your henna concept. That being said I specialize in line work and henna style. I do recommend getting hengua or Jagua because stain will be darker. If you have sensitive skin a patch test is recommended. Avoid hot sun on the area and hot water on the area as well. If I don’t think I will be able to draw what you are wanting I will offer alternative designs and you can say yes or no. I advocate for you to use your voice and in this process I will use mine.

Safe Space Policy

I am an advocate for people of all kinds. All are welcome. Any language that exhibits racism, sexism, transphobia or homophobia will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to refuse to work with anyone that does not comply with these policies.

Consultations

All henna appointments start with a consultation. Consultations are free but I do require a non-refundable deposit immediately after henna appointment is scheduled. This deposit will go towards total price of the appointment. I usually do not charge for the artwork for the henna design and I will often spend just as long on the design as I will doing the henna. The deposit allows me to dedicate the design time for you.

Deposits, No shows, and late policy

I require a 48 hour notice to change or cancel appointment. If you miss your appointment without texting, calling, or emailing at least 48 hours prior to your appointment time, you will be charged a no-show fee, which will come out of your deposit. You may be required to make an additional deposit for any future appointments. Repeated no shows or repeated reschedules even with notice will result in forfeiture of deposit, you may be required to pay a new deposit to continue, and may result in refusal to finish tattoo.

If you arrive more then 30 minutes late to your appointment without calling ahead, it will be considered a no show. I understand that life happens, if you are running late and still plan to make your appointment please call or text ahead. If I decide there is still enough time to tattoo, you will be responsible for the initial booked appointment time or the agreed amount.
