This agreement outlines the understanding between Bucket List Consulting LLC (“Preparer”) and the Client (“You”) regarding the preparation and filing of your tax return(s).
1. Scope of Services
Bucket List Consulting LLC will prepare your federal and/or state income tax return(s) based solely on the information you provide. We do not audit, verify, or investigate your documents. Our role is to prepare your return accurately using the information you submit.
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree that:
All information and documents you provide are true, complete, and accurate.
You will supply all requested documents needed to legally prepare your return.
Incomplete, inaccurate, or missing information may delay filing or affect your tax outcome.
You are responsible for reviewing your completed return before it is filed.
3. Disclaimer
By submitting your intake form, you acknowledge and agree that:
Bucket List Consulting LLC provides tax preparation services based solely on the information you provide. You confirm that all information is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of your knowledge. Bucket List Consulting LLC is not responsible for errors, omissions, or penalties resulting from incorrect or incomplete information. Final tax liability and refund amounts are determined by the IRS and applicable state agencies.
4. Fees & Payment
You agree to pay the applicable fees for services provided.
If you choose pay-from-refund, you authorize fees to be deducted from your refund by the bank product provider.
If your refund is delayed or your return is rejected, you are still responsible for paying all preparation fees.
Fees are earned when services are completed.
5. No Guarantee
Bucket List Consulting LLC does not guarantee refunds, advances, or processing times. Final determinations are made by the IRS and/or state agencies.
6. Authorization to File
You authorize Bucket List Consulting LLC to prepare and electronically file your tax return(s) after you have reviewed and signed them.
7. Privacy & Confidentiality
Your information will be kept secure and will not be shared except as required by law or necessary to file your return.
8. Acknowledgment
By signing below, you confirm that you have read, understand, and agree to this Engagement Agreement and the Fee Agreement.
