Cape Fear Valley Legacy Pediatrics is Cape Fear Valley Health’s latest addition to its pediatric care team. It is a practice with 5 providers and two locations in Fayetteville and Spring Lake, NC. We are recruiting a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our provider team. The qualified candidate must be committed to compassionate, high-quality, community-based healthcare and building long-term relationships with parents, children, and staff based on trust.

This position is full-time, 4.5 days per week. The hours are 8 am- 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday and 8-12 on Fridays. Our providers work in a well-supported office environment to provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to children aged 0-18. Our APPs usually see 18 patients per day in a combination of sick and well visits. Call is rotated among the providers on a weekly basis. The call consists of answering patient questions and being available for any urgent lab results by phone only. No inpatient call is required. The preferred candidate will be a board certified PNP or PA-C.

You will work in the primary care setting treating acute illness and performing well-visits. The clinic is staffed by Dr. Ana Hodges, a pediatrician with over 30 years’ experience, who will provide personal pediatrics training on the job when you join their practice.

Emergency Department APPs:
Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is home to the busiest Emergency Department in North Carolina and ranks among the top 10 busiest in the nation, treating 130,000 adult and 35,000 pediatric cases annually. We are currently seeking experienced, highly motivated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to work in our 96-bed adult Emergency Department, serving a high-acuity patient population with a 28% admission rate.

As an APP in our Emergency Department, you will be part of a collaborative and well-supported team, working alongside emergency medicine physicians and other skilled professionals. Our ED provides over 110 hours of daily APP coverage and features:
✅ Level III Trauma Center with a robust hospitalist service

Certified Nurse Midwife
Cape Fear Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing Obstetrics and Gynecology team. As one of the busiest maternity centers in North Carolina, we deliver over 4,000 babies annually and provide comprehensive women’s health services. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside OB/GYN physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and a dedicated team of nurses and support staff in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Position Highlights:
Provide full-scope midwifery care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Advanced Practice Provider-Orthopedics

Cape Fear Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team for patient growth and service needs. Duties include: obtaining relevant health and medical history, performing thorough physical assessments, and reviewing, and interpreting pertinent diagnostic tests/results. Advanced Practice Provider-Peds ED

The Children's Emergency Department is seeking to add an Advanced Practice Provider to one of the busiest Pediatric EDs in the state. Previous experience in pediatrics, emergency medicine, or pediatric emergency medicine is a plus.

Cape Fear Valley Pediatric Emergency has approximately 40,000 visits per year and has seen substantial growth since opening over 10 years ago. They have 17 private-rooms to support the sustained growth. The Children's Emergency Department serves as the pediatric base for the county EMS system and provides trauma services to the area.
