The Crisis Pet Retention Fund (CPR) is a program designed to give assistance in times of crisis, whether it be an economic crisis, health crisis, housing crisis, etc. The CPR Fund runs solely on donations and the amount of assistance we can provide will vary, based on what the CPR Fund has available. As such, the CPR Fund should not be utilized as a default or first option, but as a last resort. Please also note that if services are needed again at a later date, or for a different situation, each separate occasion needs its own application for services.

    • Financial Contribution Information
    • The Crisis Pet Retention Fund is made possible through the generous donations of our supporters and the partial payment and repayment of supportive services by fund recipients. This model allows us to continue helping other pet families in need, ensuring we can provide vital assistance during times of crisis.

As part of this application, we ask that you consider a payment and repayment option that works best for your current financial situation. Repayments are not mandatory, but they help sustain the program for other families facing emergencies and ensure we can continue to help other pets and people in Douglas County.

Your selection will not affect your eligibility for assistance, and all information shared is kept confidential. Thank you for being part of a program that supports pets and their families in times of need.
