Job Description:
Our company is a Filipino restaurant located at Cottonwood Mall food court. We also work with various pop-ups during the week/weekend with City of Albuquerque events and businesses.
We're a small, growing restaurant seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in our success, gaining valuable experience in the food industry from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist with weekly food prep before service at the mall.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package online orders for efficient delivery.
- Event Support:
- Set up and break down event booths at local markets and pop-ups.
- Take customer orders, pack food, and prepare on-site menu items.
- Ensure a clean and organized event space.
- Logistics: Transport food and supplies between our kitchen and retail locations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about food: Enthusiastic about the food industry (especially Asian food) and eager to learn.
- Customer-focused: Excellent customer service skills, preferably within a food service environment.
- Team player: Collaborative and enjoys working effectively with others.
- Organized & efficient: Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physically capable: Able to lift 40 pounds or more.
- Food Handlers Certified *Required.
- Experience with Square (preferred): Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
