March - May 2025 Kids Night Out

Kids enjoy a fun night out in nature, while adults have the night off!

Ages 8-12. This is a drop-off program. Pre-registration is required. No night of registrations will be accepted. Please meet at the classroom, and come dressed for the outside. Close-toed shoes are required! Fee: $35 per child, $25 per child for members.

FULL! March 14th: Kids Night Out in the Garden: Glow in the Dark

Kids have a night out, while adults get the night off! This month, our theme is glow in the dark! We’ll discover glowing minerals, mushrooms, and animals. Create a glowing art project and play glow-in-the-dark games. As always, we’ll end the evening making s’mores over the campfire.

FULL! April 25th Kids Night Out in the Garden: Outstanding Opossums

Parents have a night off, while kids enjoy an evening of Garden activities and nighttime adventure. This month, we’ll explore the lives of one of the most overlooked and misunderstood species – opossums! Did you know opossums have thumbs on their back feet? And they’re actually marsupials with pouches like kangaroos! We’ll conduct experiments, make a track replica, and explore the Garden after dark! We’ll end the night making s’mores over a campfire.

FULL! May 9th Kids Night Out in the Garden: Solar System Adventure

Kids have a night out, while adults get the night off! This month, we’re journeying through the solar system to discover planets, stars, and more. Create a solar system art project, try star gazing, and explore the Garden at night on a solar system adventure. Plus end the night with s’mores around the campfire!
