Birds & Beasts: Nature Journaling from the Medieval to the Modern offers a creative and immersive approach to nature journaling, guiding participants through historical and artistic perspectives on documenting the natural world. From prehistoric cave art to modern field guides, this course explores diverse traditions of nature observation.
Through interactive online discussions, hands-on journaling, and an in-person session at the San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden, participants will craft their own “Book of Nature.” Led by experienced instructors, this course blends science, art, and storytelling, inspiring a personal and creative connection with nature.
Tuition: $80 for Non-Members, $64 for Members.
