Come one, come all! Each year, our dedicated team brings this immersive masquerade to life for hundreds of masked revelers from both Canada and the US.
Performers We're Seeking
Carnival Noir is host to a wide variety of performances, and we are always on the lookout for novel and creative acts each year. If you have an act that is not listed, we still encourage you to apply, and apply early, so we can determine if the act would be appropriate for our year's theme and event. In addition to novel and new acts, we are seeking:
- Go-Go Style Dancers (male and female)
- Burlesque Acts
- Fire Acts
- Aerial Acts
- Strolling Acts
- Stage Acts
- Sideshow and Freakshow Acts
- Partnered Acro and Acrobatic Acts
- Unique Musicians
- Master of Ceremonies (MC's)
Requirements
Performers must be a minimum of 18 years old. All performers must be legally allowed to be in Canada on the date of performance; American performers are encouraged to apply and do not need a work authorization or work-visa to work the event.
If local, performers must be able to attend 1 dress rehersal date in person. If out of town, performers must attend one virtual meeting before the event to coordinate logistics and go over safety requirements.
Compensation
Compensation is negotiated on a case-by-case basis, and we are open to discussions to work out logistics such as per diems (travel, meals, lodging) and performance equipment shipping.
