Agha Engineering is hiring a Senior Roadway Project Manager with 15-20+ years of experience in its Houston, Texas office. On a daily basis, this person will be performing project management tasks related to roadway design, coordinating activities, ensuring safety compliance, and managing timelines and budgets for transportation infrastructure projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, communicate, and implement the operational plan for completing a project, holding self and team accountable for project deliverables.

Prepare proposals (including scope of work, fee and schedule), client agreements and sub-consultant agreements.

Manage contracts and finances of project including contract, budget and cost-estimate reviews, client invoicing and initiating collection, if required.

Manage activities, allocate resources, and assign tasks to ensure tasks and project targets are met.

Prepare or oversee the preparation of engineering designs, specifications, studies, construction documents, analyses, plan sets, drawings, maps, reports, and Agha Engineering quality processes required for project delivery.

Create review schedules for engineering and if required, construction, to capture changes and make changes within defined parameters, or make recommendations.

Work with the construction inspection group, create construction site inspection schedules, review reports and conduct construction site visits. Collaboratively addresses design issues arising during construction phase.

Communicate with regulatory agencies and may be their assigned point of contact.

Communicate regularly with clients, relaying concerns and issues candidly and tactfully.

Assist with business development by cultivating and maintaining excellent client relationships, implementing marketing initiatives, helping with proposals, SOQs, presentations and client meetings. Lead and develop roadway staff.
