Environmental and Social Mapping Tool Survey
Prepared by Allegheny County Conservation District (ACCD)
Survey Overview
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. Your response helps ACCD better understand the data and mapping needs of municipalities in the region. The survey has 5-6 questions which should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. If you have any questions, please reach out to ACCD’s Regulatory Team Director, Matt Gordon, at mgordon@accdpa.org. Your response by Friday, January 24th, would be greatly appreciated.
Project Purpose and Background
Through a grant from the Arconic Foundation, ACCD is developing a new environmental and social mapping resource. The resource is meant to be a one-stop-shop for grant applicants to view spatial data and identify areas that meet various grant eligibility criteria. An example of a mapping tool that ACCD created in the past can be found at the following link: https://bit.ly/plumcreekmap. The new resource being developed will contain new datasets/layers. Users will be able to toggle layers on and off, search for addresses, and download the data in table or shapefile form.
