  • FISHING LICENCES

King Pacific Lodge guests are required to possess a 2025/2026 Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence in British Columbia. Licences must be purchased prior to your trip.

Resident and non-resident anglers must obtain a valid Pacific Region (Annual or 5 Day) licence with a Pacific Salmon Conservation Stamp. Annual licences for juveniles (resident and non-resident, under 16 years of age) are free of charge, but still require a Pacific Salmon Conservation Stamp. Anglers are required to carry a copy of their fishing licence at all times.

2025/2026 Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licences will be available for online purchase on April 1st, 2025 via Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

All King Pacific Lodge guests are required to submit their 2025/2026 Tidal Waters Sport Fishing license number prior to their trip. A submission form will be available as of April 1st, 2025.

  • BAGGAGE LIMITS

Due to limited cargo space, your total baggage weight cannot exceed 25lbs or 11.3kg

Please pack all items in one bag. Using a soft-sided duffel bag reduces baggage weight significantly and fits better in the cargo holds on the planes and helicopters.

Carry-on bags are NOT permitted - Only essential personal items such as a small purse, phone, or laptop may be carried on the plane and on the helicopter.

Note: Exempt from the maximum baggage weight is essential medical equipment, such as a CPAP machine.

DO carry the following items on your person:

    • Passport & ID
    • Wallet
    • Keys
    • Essential daily medication

Weight limits will be STRICTLY ENFORCED at check-in.

You will be required to leave any excess baggage in Vancouver during your trip. For guests staying the previous night in Vancouver, you may choose to weigh your baggage before leaving the hotel. Our partner hotels offer secure baggage storage, free of charge. Alternatively, KPL can securely store your excess baggage. We'll have it waiting for you upon your return to Vancouver.
