Each of our puppies is part of our family, and this application process helps us ensure we are finding the absolute best homes for them.

Please keep in mind- adding a new family member is a 10-15 year commitment.

There are no right or wrong answers; your honesty helps us best match you to the right puppy.

The information contained in this application is used only for the purpose of placing a puppy and will not be used elsewhere.

If you would like to secure your spot on our list or reserve a pet, a small deposit will be collected if/after your application is approved. Deposits are non-refundable.

We understand this can be a very exciting time for our potential puppy adoptees! We feel it's important to wait until around 6 weeks of age for "puppy picks", so we can really see their little personalities shining through. "Picks" will go in order of approved families on our waiting list. We will be in regular contact throughout these weeks to get a feel of who each puppy family is falling in love with.

We try our best to post very frequent updates of our puppies! You will be able to see videos and photos practically every day. We really want you to be here with us every step of the way so you can get a good sense of each pup's personality. If you would like extra videos that can always be arranged.

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Sweet Creek Pups. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

If this application is approved, we will request your non-refundable deposit within 7 days in order to hold your picking spot. Please note our deposit policy: Should you elect to not take the puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited unless other arrangements are agreed upon by Sweet Creek Pups. We reserve the right to terminate or refund your deposit at any time if we feel it is in the best interest of our program.

We do our very best to match preferences. We want everyone to get the puppy they're in love with if it's a good match. Deposits are non-refundable.

From time to time we may decide to keep a puppy out of a litter. We reserve the right to hold puppies.

Puppies will go to their new homes at 8 weeks. We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If for what ever reason you find you do need us to keep for an extra week or two, there may be costs associated with care for this extra time. Puppies should be picked up within 7 days unless other written arrangements are made.

We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract.

Our contract is to protect our dogs from ending up in less than savvy situations. While we feel our contract is simple compared to some we have seen, our main priority is ensuring our dogs have a good life and never end up in a shelter.

We feel memorializing our obligations to each other on paper is the right thing to do- so there are no questions later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.
