INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS
Where do the activities take place?
C.R.E.A. Cultura Festival is organized all around the historical centre of Foligno, in the Umbria Region. The activities will take place in several venues, including historical buildings, auditoriums and public squares. All venues will be listed in the programme and the event map that we will publish online in February 2025.
How much does it cost to take part in the Festival?
There is no participation fee to take part in the Festival. Activities are completely free of charge, including visits to museums and other cultural heritage sites that accept the Festival badge as an entry pass.
Do you cover travel/accommodation expenses to join the Festival?
Unless you have a partnership or a different type of agreement with the organizers, all costs for reaching and staying in Foligno are borne by the participants. The participation of students, teachers and trainers from foreign countries can be supported by the Erasmus+ programme (for more information contact alessiostefanetti@egina.eu).
What type of material/equipment will the organizers make available?
In all venues where we will organize activities you will find available: WiFi Internet Connection, domestic or industrial electricity, multiple plugs, tables, chairs, screens and audio systems. Depending on the type of activity, registered participants will be asked to bring their own device.
Who is generally attending the Festival?
Educational institutions represent the primary audience of the Festival. Each year we welcome hundreds of teachers, trainers and learners from different EU Countries both as co-organizers and participants in the workshops. The Festival is open to anyone interested in participating.
In what language will the activities be delivered?
There are no language restrictions for the organization of activities. Nevertheless, we suggest organizers apply with activities in either Italian or English language. The language and target group of interest will be indicated in the description of each activity.
In what type of activities can you expect to take part during the Festival?
At C.R.E.A. Cultura we don't organize conferences, seminars, lectures or any other type of frontal activity where the audience is supposed to passively listen to speakers!
We intend a workshop to be an engaging and experiential activity, lasting between 1 and 4 hours, where the organizers ensure the active involvement of participants through individual or group hands-on tasks. Workshops are normally addressed to a limited number of participants who need to register in advance for a specific session scheduled during the three days of Festival.
On the contrary, cultural performances include any type of live show of traditions, customs and beliefs of different communities that are publically open to anyone without registration. Performances can be both individual and group, time-limited or continuous, interactive or not.
