TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Introduction

Welcome to the Tasmanian Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics (TA RG). We are a not-for-profit incorporated association. By enrolling in our programs or using our facilities, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Tasmanian Academy of Rhythmic Gymnastics Membership

Complimentary Adult Membership: One adult membership is provided free when you enrol your child. The adult signatory of the enrolment form is assumed to be the member. If you'd like to nominate another family member, please notify us.

Updating Contact Details: Please keep your contact information current by notifying us at tasrgacademy@outlook.com.

Voting Rights: All adult members are eligible to vote at the AGM.

Resignation: A resignation form must be completed when your child ceases enrolment.

Gymnastics Tasmania Membership

Membership Requirement: All participants must be members of Gymnastics Tasmania, which includes personal accident insurance.

Fees: Membership fees must be paid in full upfront.

Transfer of Membership: If a participant transfers from another Gymnastics Tasmania-affiliated club, TA RG will handle the transfer on their behalf.

Membership Duration: Gymnastics Tasmania memberships are valid for the calendar year. Unfortunately Gymnastics Tasmania does not offer pro rated memberships and therefore membership fees are the same regardless of which term a participant joins.

Intellectual Property

Choreography and Music: All levels and multiples routine choreography and music remain the property of TA RG.

Code of Conduct

Respect: All members, parents, and participants must maintain a high standard of conduct, showing respect for coaches, staff, fellow members, and facilities. Inappropriate behaviour, including bullying or harassment, will not be tolerated.

Personal Belongings: Members are responsible for their own belongings; TA RG are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Participation and Safety

Safety Compliance: All participants must follow safety guidelines provided by coaches and staff.

Medical Disclosure: Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or injuries before participation. TA RG must be notified of any changes to health status.

Right to Deny Participation: TA RG reserves the right to deny participation to individuals who pose a safety risk.

Cancellations and Refunds

Class Cancellations: TA RG may cancel classes, events, or programs due to low enrolment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a refund or rescheduling will be offered if possible.

Non-Refundable Fees: Term fees are non-refundable, and no refunds will be given for missed classes or change of mind.

Enrolment Renewal: Enrolment does not automatically roll over for the next term. A new form must be completed by the required date to secure your place. If your child is not returning, please inform us via email (tasrgacademy@outlook.com) at least two weeks before the end of the current term.

Media and Photography

Consent: TA RG may capture photos or videos during training and events. By participating, you consent to the use of these materials for promotional and informational purposes.

Privacy Policy

Data Collection: TA RG collects and stores personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy (see next page).

Changes to Terms and Conditions

TA RG reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Updated terms will be posted on our internal Facebook page, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

Termination of Membership

TA RG may terminate or suspend membership for violations of these Terms and Conditions or for any conduct detrimental to TA RG’s reputation.

By participating in TA RG, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Failure to comply may result in termination of your membership or participation.

Payment Processing: Your payment information is used for billing and processing payments for memberships, classes, and events.

Coaches, Staff, and Volunteers: Those involved in club activities for safety and communication purposes.

Service Providers: Third-party providers who assist with running the club, such as website hosting and payment processing services.

Children’s Privacy

Note: Term 1 fees include the following:

Pre-Levels to Level 2: $50.05 Gymnastics Tasmania Membership Registration Fee, plus term fees.

Level 3 and Above: $101.75 Gymnastics Tasmania Membership Registration Fee, plus term fees.

Please note: Gymnastics Tasmania Membership Registration Fees are a one-off yearly payment.
