• Happivize Speaker Agreement

  • Hi, I'm so glad we are going to be working together. This is the inital agreement so we can confirm the interview date - we do not require any sales page copy or deliverables on this form. 

    We should have already discussed everything on this page, but just in case something was missed this gives us time to discuss any questions right away before the interview.

    There will also be another form for sending sales page copy and deliverables..

    PLEASE only submit when you have everything ready - putting something like TBD or "will get later" causes errors, we see the issues almost every time! For example someone puts TBD on their live call dates, then they schedule themselves out of town during the live call timeframe.

    You can hit Save at bottom and it will send you a link to your email for the draft you are working on. Helpful if you are working on it over sevearl days. If you accidentally submit partial information or put TBD, we will ask you to resubmit the whole form when you have all of the information, you will be able to edit the original submission.

    By completing this form, you understand we are both committing to a spot on the Happivize calendar.  On your end, you agree to provide us the content and information we need to create everything on our site. On our end, we commit to your time and your offer. Other platforms have 3 and 4 speakers a week and missing one for them isn't that big of a deal. But it's a very big deal for Happivize! We promote you the whole week to really give you the opportunity to connect with our audience. Once you commit, we stop offering that slot to anyone else, and if you cancel with less than two months notice,we can't just plug in someone else because other speakers won't be able to create a new program in time. 

    If you realize you are someone who overschedules themselves, or procrastinates and then cancels, or feels too much pressure when creating a program...we can come up with an alternate way to work together. Please reach out to Aimee if you feel you might cancel...there are other options! And yes, we know all our speakers have great intentions, but we have had enough speakers cancel at last minute to require this whole section. 

    So we are requesting to please be honest with yourself and only commit if you know you can and will deliver. (Obviously true emergencies come up, we aren't talking about that). We thank you in advance for being honest and upfront with how you work and who you are! As long as we know in advance, we can create a win-win.

    We also want to make sure you have your program live calls and sessions blocked out on your calendar, so we ask for the following info.

    Dates and times of Live calls (if part of your program)

    1) When to Schedule them We like to re-promote your program again right before live calls start, and we have alloted a re-promote time for each speaker based on a 3 week rolling live call start date. Meaning each speaker starts their calls in 3rd week after launch and each week we re-promote that one speaker. So please schedule your calls 

    • In the third week after interview eg if May 1 call, then week of May 22
    • Wed - Sun live call dates is best for repromotion. Customers love weekends if that's doable. If you pick a Monday or Tuesday, we will only be able to re-promote you once since we have sale ending for the speaker on Monday and new speaker on Tuesday. Wed-Sun live calls we can send a solo email about your program.
    • 3pm or later ET - note that 90% of our buyers are in North America, so calls need to be scheduled around N. American times

    If you choose to start a week not 3 weeks later, we will not be able to re-promote you.

    LMK if you need clarification - this rolling start on live calls is to maximize sales and repromotion for your program.

    2) We will use the dates listed below to block the space on our Happivize calendar to make sure your calls don't conflict with other speakers' scheduled calls (if calls are at same time, it might prevent people from buying your program). We will reach out if there is a conflict, it is first come first serve and can be easily remedied.

  • GIFT #1: For new people who Register on Happivize 

    When new people opt-in, they are given short welcome gifts for our upcoming speakers so they can get a taste of your work and look forward to your interview. A single 7-15 minute MP3 or short private/unlisted video is recommended. Should be a clearing/activation type experience, not teaching. This should be a single gift, not a 2part gift.

    Please provide a graphic and link to the file and a one sentence description.

    This does NOT need to be new or exclusive to Happivize, just needs to be a good teaser, it's fine if you have offered it many times before and if some in the audience will already have it.

  • GIFT #2: Review Thank you Gift for people who leave a review after purchase

    Again, you do not need to create anything new for this gift. It should be different than the opt-in gift above, it can be on any topic, and recommend a short (10 minutes-ish) mp3 that your customers have liked in the past. This only goes to people who leave a review after they have purchased the program.

    We send 5-7 solo emails and include you in 3-4 newsletters to promote your program. We ask that you send two before your interview to your unique opt-in page. Then one to announce the replay, one to announce the Early Bird Sale is ending, and one a few days before the live calls start (these last 3 go to replay/product page page for those who didn't feel like opting in). Swipe will be provided for all emails. Any further promotion is appreciated.

  • I realize the above might be overly explicit, I know most of you know what a solo is, but you would be surprised, there is always someone who thinks they can just put a short mention in a long newsletter, at the end of a long article about another topic, or add in links to other events/products in the email.

  • I hereby expressly grant to Happivize, LLC, as represented by Aimee Serafini the right to use photos and/or audio and visual impressions ("impressions") of me recorded by or provided by me to Aimee Serafini, in connection with or as part of any presentation, program, publication, product, transmission or other professional endeavor in which the impressions may be used or incorporated, and also in the advertising, and/or publicizing of any analog or digital works or their content, in perpetuity.

    I agree that it may be edited or otherwise altered. I understand that these impressions, as well as my name, likeness, voice and biographical material, may be used for commercial, educational or informational purposes, in any manner or media, in perpetuity, throughout the world.  I waive any rights of copyright or ownership in the resulting commercial, educational and informational materials in which I appear, and acknowledge that no monetary or other compensation is provided in exchange for waiving this right. I also agree to allow all forms of distribution of the materials that accompany the impressions. I represent that I have the right, capacity, and authority to enter into this agreement (the "Agreement") and that my participation and performance and the rights I have granted in the Agreement will not conflict with or violate any commitment or understanding I have with any other person or entity.

    I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aimee Serafini and Happivize LLC from and against all claims, losses, expenses, and liabilities of every kind including reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of the inaccuracy or breach of any provision of this Agreement. I expressly release Aimee Serafini from any and all claims arising out of the use of the material.   I hereby certify that I have read and ACCEPT the foregoing and all Agreement Terms listed in this form and fully understand the meaning and effect thereof, and intending to be legally bound, hereunto set my electronic signature this:
