We understand how important clean clothes are to students. This is why Brax Laundry created our Laundry Assistance program that ensures students in our community have clean laundry.
Each quarter, we deposit store credit into the student’s Brax Laundry account that can be used for laundry (washers and dryers only). We also have laundry detergent and dryer sheets available for free.
We request students attend the LoveOne free laundry events whenever possible.
Program Allowance - Updated July 1, 2025
- Each eligible student receives allowance for 8 loads, equivalent to about 80 pounds of laundry each week, given as $16 store credit. A quarterly allowance is added in one lump sum to the student’s Brax Laundry store account.
- Students may be enrolled anytime during the quarter. Store credit will be applied to the student’s account in approximately 3-5 days.
- School employees are required to submit an application on behalf of the student each quarter.
- Unused credits from past quarters do not roll over to the next quarter. Quarters start on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st.
Allowance Usage Guidelines
- Students must attend the LoveOne free laundry events whenever possible. Events are held multiple times per week. The event schedule can be found at loveone.org/event
- Program credit in student's account may only be used for washers and dryers – no retail laundry products, such as detergent, bleach, drinks, snacks, transfer service, or laundry bags, etc.
- Student must remain in the laundromat while washing and drying. If laundry is left in the washer or dryer unattended, the student may forfeit any remaining quarterly allowance.
- This program is designed for the student's personal laundry. No commercial or other non-household laundry is allowed under this program.
