What are the class costs?
Term fee invoices are sent via email prior to the beginning of each term (or during the first few weeks of term one) and must be paid by the due date for students to continue their enrolment. Fees are priced on a sliding scale based on how many classes you are enrolled in; meaning the more classes you do, the more money you save! 

1 class per week / $15 / $150 per 10 week term

2 classes per week / $29 / $290 per 10 week term

3 classes per week / $42 / $420 per 10 week term

4 classes per week / $54 / $540 per 10 week term

5 classes per week / $66 / $660 per 10 week term

6 classes per week / $78 / $780 per 10 week term

*2025 will operate on 9 - 11 week terms, invoices will reflect this.
**Classes typically run for 45mins - 1hr each per week with some exceptions once the timetable has been made. Prices vary to reflect 30min classes.
***Price discounts cap at 6 group classes per week; all additional group classes are $13 per class per week.

- Upon enrolling, students incur a non-refundable registration fee of $15 and an additional $5 administration fee per subsequent term.
- All invoices may include the addition of GST.

- Our casual class fee is $25 per class.
- All Pre-school programs are $15 per class, Dance With Me classes not included in the pricing scale.
- Our Combo Class (Ballet & Jazz) is $25 per class for 75mins, not included in the pricing scale. ($250 per 10 week term)

- Private dance coaching (including solos/duos/trios) is $32.50 for 30mins.
- Private singing lessons are $32.50 for 30mins
- Troupe Classes (competition group dance) are $14 per week, plus any applicable extras throughout the year (competition entries, costume hires etc.) and cannot be discounted. Participation in Troupe is via invite only at the teacher and studio director's discretion.

Whilst we’d love for our students to join us for the whole year, we understand things can change!

Term 1 – Enrolments and free trials are accepted at any time, subject to class size and availability. This is when the fundamentals of each style is learnt and social connections are made. Join us in term one to get the most out of your year at dance!

Term 2 – Enrolments and free trials are accepted at any time, subject to class size and availability. Depending on the class and how late it is in the term, students may need to practise and listen extra hard in class to catch up on what’s being taught – but it’s not too late to join!

Term 3 – Enrolments and free trials may be accepted in the first few weeks, depending on which class and the enquiring student’s previous experience. It’s tricky when our dancers have been working hard together for six months but not impossible! Subject to class size, availability and progress made towards our end of year concert.

Term 4 – Enrolments and free trials are typically put on a waiting list for the following year as our classes are well established and almost finished preparing for the end of year concert. We may have some spaces available in classes still accepting enrolments, so it’s worth getting in touch just in case and securing a place on our waitlist anyway!

In our experience, students achieve more in their classes (pre-school students included) when they can focus on the teacher in a calm and controlled space. For this reason and like most other dance schools, classes are not open for viewing. Our younger students may have specific occasions where the teachers will invite parents/guardians to view the last few minutes of class, however this is at the discretion of our Teachers during Terms 1 & 2 only to help keep concert routines a surprise later in the year. All Dance With Me students must be accompanied by an adult to each class to encourage their participation - please be ready to join in!

Our Tiny Tiptoes & Tiny Tumblers classes typically have student helpers assist the class who are fantastic at encouraging and supporting our youngest students that need may need extra help.

Strictly no photos or videos are to be taken by parents/guardians of the dancers during class.

We hope to see students enrol for the full calendar year to achieve the most out of their classes and to be eligible to perform in our annual concert. Parents/Guardians are highly encouraged to discuss any concerns you may have with our teachers as we completely understand student interests can vary or change and often have various solutions and options for your student to try, rather than just cancelling outright.   

If you choose not to continue after a trial class, you will not be required to pay the term fees, so long as Studio C has been officially notified before the following class. If your student decides not to continue after their first two weeks of classes, we'll invoice you the Casual Class cost for each extra class participated in. If you decide to cancel enrolment at three weeks in, you are still required to pay for the full term to cover admin and insurance costs for your child/ren.

Changing a student’s enrolment to a different class is subject to the preferred class’s pre-existing size and timetable availability. In the event that the class is not accepting enrolments, students may be placed on a waitlist until a spot becomes available.

No! Students may attend classes for recreation and work their way up through our levels at their own pace. We do offer solo/duo and troupe performance opportunities as well as classical ballet exams for those students who are driven and want to get more out of their dancing.

Ballet dancers wishing to complete a ballet exam must attend two Ballet classes per week including our exam specific preparation program, meet out-of-studio practise requirements and download the R.A.D app. All Ballet Exam classes/training programs incur extra costs; enquire today to discuss your dancer's options and to receive an exam information pack detailing extra costs, commitments & student expectations.

The Studio C team can be reached outside of teaching hours (before 3pm, then after 8pm on weekdays) and are best contacted via email but can also be reached via Facebook messenger on our business page. Our teachers often have back-to-back classes and therefore don’t have the ability to chat to parents before or after but address the email or message to your desired recipient and we’ll make sure it gets through!
