    Applications are due Thursday, August 14th, 2025 by 11:59pm.

  • Timeline and Requirements

    Notification of selected artwork will be September 10th, 2025. Open to all artists 18 and older who submit work of high quality, conceptual strength, and sound design. All artists need to be a resident of either Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa or South Dakota. Artists may submit up to three (3) separate artworks. All artwork will need 3-5 steel tabs on the bottom of the sculpture to be welded onto the limestone pedestals with steel plate tops. The pieces will be available for sale or lease if the artist so chooses from late May 2026 - April 2027. Note that the City of Fergus Falls will retain a 25% commission on any sculptures sold. Please price all work accordingly. Base sizes for the 6 limestone bases are; (2) 24"x24"x24", (2) 24"x36"x18" and (2) 24"x48"x18". Artist must choose a base size for each sculpture submitted.
