Over the past year many of us have gathered together in Jewish communities, with our friends and loved ones, to talk about the events of October 7th and the on-going violence in Gaza. It has so often created division, confusion, and pain to not felt heard by those we are in community with. At Nefesh we are committed to having complex, layered, and honest dialogue. Since November of 2023 we have been hosting community-led and facilitated conversations within our community about Israel Palestine, that honors the variety of experiences and feelings of all those that participate.
Nefesh is warmly inviting the wider Jewish community of Los Angeles to join in these heart-filled and open dialogues, to strengthen our community’s in-depth listening practice through conversations in a middot-rooted brave space. Regardless of synagogue or community affiliation you are welcome to be part of this incredible opportunity for connection and support.
The session will be 2.5 hours, including tea, snacks and a break.
