    This form must be completed for the session to be considered for the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association Annual Conference in 2025. The Annual Conference Program Committee will contact speakers with selection results by the end of April. MRPA staff will finalize all contractual agreements with selected speakers. Commercial companies must be a conference exhibitor or member to be considered as a conference educational session presenter.

  • Session Learning Outcomes

    These are the promises you are making to the attendees. State three action items or learning outcomes participants will take away from the session. Learning outcomes are statements that specify what attendees will know or be able to do as a result of attending the session. Outcomes are usually expressed as knowledge or skills.

    Presenters may consider providing information that achieves the how to, when developing the session. Concrete action verbs such as the following examples may be helpful when writing outcomes: analyze, apply, articulate, assess, create, discuss, define, demonstrate, describe, develop, differentiate, examine, identify, list, prioritize, and recognize.

  • Speaker Compensation and Reference

    Speakers who are current or retired MRPA members or employed in the parks and recreation profession in Minnesota are not eligible for honorariums, expense reimbursement, or waiver of registration fees. Please list your compensation request:

    All rooms will be equipped with a projector. Microphones are used only for keynote presentations.
