    • Two contrasting pieces or movements, accompaniment not required, such as:
      • Solo Bach (or equivalent)
      • Major Concerto (Wisconsin Class A solo repertoire or beyond)
    • One major and minor scale (up to 4 octaves, if applicable), plus arpeggios
    • Scales & Arpeggios 
      • 120-144 BPM, 1/8 notes
      • 84-108 BPM, 1/16 notes

    Choose a 'performance tempo' you can play cleanly, evenly, and in tune.

    Use a high-quality device to record the video and audio.

    Video should be close enough to observe finger, hand, and arm activity for string players, and embouchure for wind players, but not too close.

    Avoid lengthy accompaniment introductions.

  • Should be Empty:
